Days That Shape Our Lives is a soundtrack to future summers, and it has a happy, flowing feel to it. Even though the whiny Americanized vocals from a band hailing from Blackpool may annoy some people, it’s a small flaw on such an impressive album that gives them the chance to break out to a much bigger audience. It’s an album with a sunny disposition, one that can be appreciated by both pop punk kids and metalheads alike. Me vs Hero have created an album that gives them the ability to break out to a much wider audience and sincerely, they deserve it.

New Jersey based pop-punk group Major League are one of those bands I can listen to all day, and never get tired of. “The Truth Is” is in fact the band’s first lengthy EP, and it really showcases what this band is able to accomplish. My biggest problem with this EP is the fact that a few times through the listen, I found myself thinking about how repetitive some of these tracks can get. You can never deny fun, but a lot of moments throughout sound the same and that makes it very difficult for each and every song to stand out on it’s own. Have fun with it! :D

A Day To Remember - What Seperates Me From You

YEAH IT'S HERE!! The long awaited new album by A Day To Remember, What Seperates Me From You (set for release on November 16th) has finally leaked. It has already received very positive reviews from Alternative Press and Kerrang! and I haven't listened to it yet, but I'll add my review when I have fully enjoyed it! Until then, have fun with it :D

Update: I have given the album and have to say I quite like it! Too bad it isn't the 'old' ADTR anymore, and most of the songs sound quite poppy. There's only about 3 tracks that have actual breakdowns and good 'ol hardcore elements in them, including the first track of the album, Sticks & Bricks (which is awesome by the way). I have also added the V0 release, which has variable bitrate.

Update 2: The Scene release was just released by FNT, available in the download link in this post. This should be the final release. Oh and I have a new favorite song: "You Be Tails, I'll Be Sonic", it's so awesome xD

A Day To Remember - And Their Name Was Treason

This is the first album by A Day To Remember from 2005. The album features samples from various films throughout; "Intro" features a sample from the film Donnie Darko, "1958" features a sample from the film The Boondock Saints and "Sound the Alarm" features audio from Shaun of the Dead. The song "1958" was written about drummer Brandon Roberts who left the band prior to being signed to Indianola Records. The numbers "1958" were the last four digits of his cell phone number. Enjoy!

Here's the special edition of the latest album by Four Year Strong, a Pop-Punk / Melodic Hardcore band from Worcester, Massachusetts, formed in 2001 . Four Year Strong are true to their word when they say “don’t fix it if it isn’t broken” on opening track ‘It Must Really Suck To Be Four Year Strong Right Now’, from their Universal/Motown debut ‘Enemy of the World’. All the duel vocals, breakdowns and stomping numbers are still here and present.
